  2. CCAQS Database Support • PC requested an estimate of resources to maintain CCAQS database • TC approved an ARB proposal requesting $42k for one year of support. • This money is not earmarked under either CCOS or CRPAQS

Modeling of the September 2000 CCOS Ozone Episode • Contract with Alpine Geophysics (with Othree Chemistry and ENVIRON) initiated • ARB staff managing the contract for the Study Agency • Kick-off meeting held in Sacramento on October 24, 2003 • First bi-weekly conference call held on November 05, 2003 with the TC

  4. CCOS Seasonal Ozone Modeling • PC approved $100k to initiate a contract with UCB/LBNL • TC proposed revisions to the work plan • ARB will meet with UCB/LBNL next week to discuss improvements to the work plan • Consideration of the contract at the December 17th meeting of the Governing Board

  5. CCOS Contracts • 39 contracts to date • 15 active (4 in draft final stage) • 24 completed • RFPs in development - 2 • Cash and commitments as of 9/30/03 - $1.75 million • Anticipated resource need for “Table-III” projects ~ $2.25 million
