Regional Seminar on Developing A Program for the Implementationof the2008 SNA and Supporting Statistics in Turkey 11-13 September 2013 / Ankara - Turkey Structural Business Survey • Sample size • Sample size for NACE Rev. 2, 4 digit level determined by using variable variances and Compromise Allocation • Variables used: Turnover, production value, value-added at factor cost, total purchases of goods and services, personnel cost, number of persons employed • Final sample size decision made by iterative process which assure minimum strata size • Total sample size ≌ 66.500 (2012) • Aim: Allocate sample size optimally to stratas increasing the representativity of the estimations.
