  1. Spreading the Word So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading. (Nehemiah 8:8) Numbers 8-10

  2. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:12-15

  3. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead Philippians 3:12-15

  4. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12-15

  10. Finding God’s Will Is necessary…it is commanded Is not easy or always simple If you are going to make progress in the Christian life – knowing God’s will is required Not all make progress – some just maintain, some – go in comfortable circles…going nowhere

  15. Who are the Levites…and why? • Thru Passover, all the firstborn should have died • God saved them by blood of Lamb • Thus – all first born animals and people belonged to God • Practically – Levites accepted instead of all the firstborn (v.16) • Point: Because saved…now His
