Paper Review • Each student MUST submit the review for each paper before the class • The presenter does NOT need to do it though • See instructions online • Copy & paste is plagiarism, resulting in failure of this course • Each student must print and bring the paper hard copy into the class • Late submission of paper reviews will NOT be read and graded.

  7. Class Attendance • Class attendance is MUST • One class miss leads to one scale down of your final grade • You have at most three classes to miss if you want to pass the course: ABCD • Unfortunately, there is NO guarantee of grade A for everybody • If you cannot ensure attendance, better drop it NOW!

  8. Class Participation • A big chunk of your final grade • Including but not limited to • Asking a question • Raising a point • Presenting an argument • Offering an alternative point of view • If you are quiet, you need to make some noise in this class!

Presentation • At least one presentation per student • Presenter • >= 20 slides • Email the slides to me at least ONE hour before the class! • 30 minutes presentation • 20 minutes leading discussions • Tips on making a good presentation are online • Basic requirements online! You need to follow! • A big chunk of your performance!!
