  2. Situation academic vocational hours days ……. ECTS Proposal: Each country uses ECTS for own „academic system“ NO CHANGE Accreditation!! For the “rest”:  other system  e.g.: “MECTS”

  3. HP MECTS Situation • Some countries use ECTS for parts of a Module which is considered as “vocational” (France) • Some countries want to implement “MECTS” • Some countries see no need for “MECTS” (Slovakia)

Bologna Model ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) 1 ECTS = 25-30 working hours (Austria: 25) guidedlecture 30 - 40 % 7,5 - 12 working-hours guided self- study 10 - 20 % 2,5 - 6 working- hours autonomous self- study 50 % 12,5 - 15 working- hours Exam (optional) ? working- hours

Proposals/Summary • Certificate for “MECTS”, if international students are attending • Agreement that first calculations are done with offered exchange projects only • Agreement on a deadline for availability(Feb 2010 ??  4 months) • Results coordinated by a lead-nation and placed on EMILYO-homepage
