A Consensus Definition? • Administration- deals with the flow and function of an organization through formulating policy and procedures in accordance with the mission and goals It can be both an established position and/or a role undertaken based on organizational context • Hierarchy—Administration can exist at any level based on organizational needs

Management can be at different levels within the organization
