  6. Conflict of the story • The conflict of a story is the problems faced by the characters. • External conflict is a problem outside f the characters mind. • Internal conflict is a problem within the characters mind.

  8. Plot • The plot is the sequence in a story. • The exposition of the a story is all the background information in a story. • The climax is the most exciting part of a story. • The resolution of a story, the most exciting part.

  9. Climax of Cat in the Hat • The climax of the Cat in the Hat is when the mother of Sally and Conrad is coming home.
