  5. • Warning / Precaution / Caution This chapter describes the care which must be exercised in handling TFT LCD, Inverter and HDD changing or servicing. The TFT-LCD so sensitive that its material and structure may be easily damaged or lost due to carelessness on the part of users or operators. Please comply with the following precautions when unpacking, handling, assembling or storing it Temperature / Humidity It is recommended to use the product at room temperature and humidity in order to maintain its optimum performance. 1. Product lifetime can be shortened when it is used under conditions of high temperature and humidity. Environmental Consideration It is recommended to use the product in a clean place and to exercise caution to ensure that it is not affected by dust or liquids, etc. 1. If used in dusty place, dust may cause an electrical short inside the product resulting in malfunction. 2. If the product is contaminated by humid or liquid substance, polarizer may be discolored. If the liquid enters may enter the product to cause electrical failure or corrosion which, in turn, may lead to malfunction 4

  6. • Warning / Precaution / Caution Handling As LCD is a product made of glass, caution must be exercised in using it. It is recommended to handle it with care since shock, vibration, and careless handling may seriously affect the product. 3. The LCD product is composed of sensitive electronic parts and components. Therefore it must be grounded by ESD protection equipment (wrist band, etc.) before it is directly handled. 5. Do not bend or stretch the back light wire. 5

  7. • Warning / Precaution / Caution Usage As LCD product is a sensitive electronic equipment, it is urged to comply with the following precautions when using it. 1. Never disassemble LCD product under any circumstances. If unqualified operators or users assemble the product after disassembling it, it may not function or its operation may be seriously affected. 3. It is recommended that the product be stored in a cool and dry place in its original product box. 6

  8. • Warning / Precaution / Caution RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT TOUCH INVERTER CAUTION TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT OPEN BACK COVER EXCEPT FOR CHANGING HDD INSIDE REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. This clause describes the care which must be exercised in handling Inverter. The Inverter generate more or less high voltage. Please comply with the following precautions when Back cover opening, handling, assembling it or HDD changing. AS Inverter IC are exposed on the backWhile opening Back cover, Caution must be when changing HDD It is recommended to handle it with care since mechanical stress,shock, vibration, and careless handling may seriously affect it. Do not hold or press this part with your hands. 7

  9. • Warning / Precaution / Caution UDMA Cable Upper HDD Fixing Screw Power Cable This clause describes the care which must be exercised in handling HDD (HDD changing or servicing etc) The exposed HDD IC so sensitive that it’s contained materials may be easily damaged or lost due to carelessness on the part of users or operators. Please comply with the following precautions when unpacking, handling, assembling or changing it AS the kind of HDD IC is exposed on the backWhile opening Back cover, That must be Caution when changing HDD or handling other cables (UDMA, Power Cable etc) It is recommended to handle it with care since mechanical stress,shock, vibration, touch, scratch and careless handling may seriously affect HDD. So they are can cause failure of HDD Assembled HDD 8

  10. • Warning / Precaution / Caution This clause describes the care must be handle Power Adapter Please comply with the following precautions when handling or changing it 1. The LCD DVR Combo is designed to operate on a Power Adapter of 100 ~ 240V - 50/60㎐ AC Input and output rating is 12V/8.0A (100W) Ensure that your Power Adapter fits this requirement before attempting to use your LCD DVR system. Use only contained Power Adapter in Packing Box When replacement is required, be sure that replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or parts having the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards. 2. Handle the power cable carefully and avoid excessive bending. A damaged cord can cause electric shock or fire. 3. If LCD DVR Combo is not to be used for long time, disconnect the plug from the power outlet. 4. Do not touch the power plug with wet hand and conductor materials etc. Doing so can cause electrical shock or fire. 5. Do not touch the power plug during a thunder storm. Doing so can cause electrical shock or fire. 9

  11. • Warning / Precaution / Caution This clause describes General Caution or Warning Please comply with the following precautions when handling or changing it When replacement parts are required, be sure that the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or parts having the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards. Unplug immediately if there is something wrong with your System Do not operate if smoke, strange noise or odor comes out of your System. It might cause fire or electric shock. In this case, unplug immediately and contact your dealer. Service Guide Except as specifically explained in the Owner's Guide, do not attempt to service this product yourself. Please contact your dealer when you want to fix, adjust or inspect LCD DVR Combo Do not modify this equipment. It can lead to fire or electric shock. Do not place the System on uneven surface. Place the LCD DVR system on a leveled and stable surface only. Please do not place equipment on unstable surfaces. Do not turn off the main power abruptly or unplug the System during operation. It is best to wait for turn off by specified Normal sequence in case of main power off. Tip • Firmware, Remote Agent Software and manual are changed or Version-up without notice 10

System Power ON • Press Power Button to Start System. • After Checking Hard Disk, Need input Password to 1 Operation.( Initial password is 1234.) • Initial Screen View Mode is Nine Division Mode 1 and Timer Recording Mode. • Each Channel Indicate Camera Name & Recording Status. • Present Time & Date Indicate at Lower Sideof Monitor Center. Power On menu When connect by the Remote Agent or Web Client, Indicator appear left side of the lower end. This indicate the network condition . - Blue : Network is stable. - Yellow : Network is unstable. - Violet : Network is very unstable. ① Network Status ② ID Indicator ③ ID Status ④HDD Status • ID Indicator : While input ID, it is appeared. ID input has done, it is disappeared • ID Status : it’s color maintain white only one system, but the other ID Number “R” Character color changed from white to gray • HDD Status : HDD and Recording capacity 2. PTZ/FOCUS Control • Control Camera PTZ (Pan /Tilt /Zoom). • Press PTZ Button to Open PTZ Menu. • Each icon mean the button of front keyboard. • Control each function by front keyboard. • Press PTZ button one more time, then another menu appear. • F, I Characters mean Focus and IRIS 4. System Power Off • Press longer than 2secondPower Button to System Off. • Input Password and Press Enter to Shutdown System. • System Log-On Possible ID Group : “ADMIN”, ”MANAGER”, “USER” Must be input Capital letter - ADMIN : All Functions are accessible (System On, Shutdown, Setup, Search)- MANAGER : System On and Search functions are accessible - USER : Only System On function is accessible. General SETUP ⊙ Go to Setup ① Press Setup Front Button or Menu Button of Remocon. ② When appear pop-up menu, Input Password Using by Front Button or Remocon. ③ After Input Password Press Enter to See Menu. • Initial “ADMIN” Password is 1234 that shows as * • Changing Password (System -> User management ). : To erase initial password, Press fast backward (<<) button. • Only Watch Mode can go to Entering setup. Display - Video Setup for Watch Mode • Every System Setup can Change or Maintain at Menu • Move to Menu Using by Up, Down, Left and RightButton. • To Open Detail Menu, press “Enter”. ENTER Return to Previous Menu or Return to Watch Mode. • 1-1. OSD (On Screen Display) • Status Bar : Record Condition Mark On/Off. • Camera Title : Setup Camera Name to Show Left-Upper Side. • Event Icon : Indicate the menu location by icon. • Border : Border Mark On/Off when 9CH Division Watch Mode. • Border Color : Select Border Color. (White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Gray) • Menu Transparency : Choose the transparency(1~100). • Motion Sensor Display : Setup display motion sensor. - Active : Display motion sensor of motion detection area. - Inactive : Display motion sensor except motion detection area. - Off : No display of motion sensor. • Motion Sensor Color : Setup motion sensor color. • Motion Transparency : Choose the transparency(0~3). 20

MONITOR • Sequence Dwell : Setup Rotation Cycle Time (1~60 Sec.) when Rotation Mode at Watch Mode. • De-interlace Mode : Remove Screen Spread on High Resolution, Low Frame ※Only Applying When D1 (704X480) • Alarm Pop-Up Mode : When alarm happen, Alarm happened channel Pop-up • Alarm Pop-Up Dwell : Alarm Pop-up Time (1~60Sec.) • Motion Pop-Up Mode : When Motion happen, Motion happened channel Pop-up • Motion Pop-Up Dwell : Motion Pop-up Time (1~60Sec.) 1-3. SEQUENCE • Activation : Setup Activation On/Off. Only one list can be activated. • List : Sequence Title. • Press enter at list, edit enable. • Choose Add to Add Sequence. • Total 16 mode of sequence can be made. • Input Sequence Title by virtual keyboard. •Choose Activation on/off. • Press save to move to setup. 21

Setup mode activated. • Select display mode among 16 mode. 1set can be made by 16 mode. • Setup next mode as before. • Total 16 mode can be selected. • Display mode selected, press channel selection button as you want. • Input all channel Number, move to next step. • When finish setup, press return. • Save & Exit / Exit / Cancel can be selected. 22

PTZ Setup • Address : Select PTZ Camera Address. • PTZ Protocol : Select Kind of PTZ Camera. • Enter button and setup the detailed PTZ. • Baud Rate : Setup PTZ Communication Speed. (2400, 4800, 9600,19200, 38400 BPS) ※PTZ Supplied Protocol : Samsung(MRX-1000), Samsung(SCC641),Honeywell(SD1) Honeywell((GMC),Lilin(Fastdome), Fastrax(Ⅱ), GC(655N), D-MAX, Sunin DSC-230, Scan Dome-Ⅱ, Vicon,Philips8560-700 Sensormatic,Panasonic(WV-CS850), Panasonic(WV-CSR604),VRX-2101 Kalatel(KTD-312), PELCO-D, PELCO-P,Dynacolor(D7722), ELMO(PTC-400C) ※ How to use the Virtual Keyboard • Input the title by “Enter” after choose by direction key. • Press the UP button for shift then choose the other characters. • Erase characters by BACKWARD button. • Press ENTER button for finish. Motion Sensor • Press AREA SETUP button. •Move Cursor by Direction Key and Enter for select. • Select region and press Enter one more time. • For finish area setup, press Return. • Choose the Partial Region channel by channel. • Sensitivity: Control sensitivity.(1~10) Press return, then next menu show up. • Select All : Select Entire Region. • Deselect All : Cancel Region Setup. • Cancel : Cancel Change Setup & Exit. • Save & Exit : Save the Changes & Exit. 3. Sound 3-1. AudioSetup. 3-2. BuzzerSetup • Live Audio : Audio Output ON/OFF. Live Audio Output from Audio In Terminal. • Audio Monitoring Channel: Select Channel for Audio Output. • Network Audio TX: Choose the Audio transmission. • Network Audio RX: Choose the Audio receive. • Keypad : Keypad buzzer On/Off. • Remocon : Remocon buzzer On/Off. 25

  27. Tip ※ How to Time setup 1. Setup Time zone as your location. 2. Setup the Network Time server and press the “Sync” button. 3. If can not get correct time automatically, setup the date/time manually. 4. If don’t follow as upper, you may have the time error and the recording data search error. General SETUP 4. System 4-1. date/time ※ First of all, Time zone should be setup as your location. • Date TIME: Setup Present Date time. (If Time Setup to Past Date, Ask Delete Data for the Past Date. (NO->Date/Time No Change, YES->After Delete Past Data and Change Date/Time ) • Date Format : Select Date Output Type. (Ex:2007/04/20) • Time Format : Setup Time Type as 12 Hour (AM / PM) Base or 24 Hour Base. • Network Time Server setup : Setup Present Time by Time Server. (Default is time.nist.gov) • D.S.T: Daylight Saving Function On/Off. • Time Zone Setup : Choose the time by GMT standard. 26

Network • IP Address : Input IP Address. • Gateway : Input Gateway IP for Internet Server. • Subnet Mask : Input Subnet Mask IP. • DNS Server : Input DNS Server IP. • DDNS Server : Input DDNS Server IP. • Net Client Port : Input net client port. • Web Server Port : Input web server port. • Max TX Speed : Setup Max TX Speed. ※ If Change Network Setup, New Change Apply after Rebooting. • DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) : Indicate IP Address for the DVR Automatically. 1. Enter to “System -> Network”on the Menu. 2. Setup DHCP On/Off. 3. DHCP Off : User Input IP Address manually. 4. DHCP On : Indicate IP Address for the DVR Automatically. After DHCP On, Reboot the System. 5. Can see the setup IP automatically at the system information. • DDNS (Dynamic DNS): You can connect the DVR by the fixed domain name(ex.00115f000001.dvrlink.net) at client or Web without entering the IP address. ※ If you use the DDNS, there is no necessity to enter again the IP Address every connection. 1. Enter to “System -> Network” on the menu. 2. Setup DHCP On or Enter the IP address. 3. Setup DDNS ON and reboot. 4. Enter to “System -> System Management” on the menu. 5. Confirm the MAC address. 6. The domain name is "MACaddress.dvrlink.net". EX) If Mac Address is 00-11-5f-00-b5-a7, the domain name is "00115f00b5a7.dvrlink.net" 7. If you connect by "00115f00b5a7.dvrlink.net" at client program or Web, you can connect the DVR. • Web Service - On : Connect from Web browser enable. - Off : Connect from Web browser disable. Tip ※ 1. If your network connect at the router, please must port forwarding. 2. Please must enter the exact IP address, DNS Server, Gateway, Subnet Mask. 3. Please must connect the DVR at External Network. If you don't follow 1,2,3 , you can't receive the DDNS service. 27

  29. General SETUP 4-3. Mail • Server: Setup the mail server by Virtual Keyboard. • Port: Input mail server port by Virtual Keyboard (SMTP Server Port : 25) • Security: Setup security On/Off. Mail server needed certification, setup security on. • User & Password: Input user ID and Password of Mail Server. 4-4. User Management User setup • It is consisted 3 User Group as “ADMIN”, ”MANAGER”, “USER”. • Total 7 user belong to 3 User Group can be made. • Enter ADD button to make a new user. 28

  30. General SETUP 4-4. User Management • Input User ID, Password. • Choose the Group. • Input the E-mail Address. •It can edit User ID information. • E-mail notification On/Off • Input the E-mail by Virtual Keyboard. 29

E-mail Notification • If the alarm, video-loss, motion and HDD event are happened, send the notification by the E-mail. • Choose the function by direction key. • Latched / Transparent Latched – When Sensor Alarm Activated, Relay Reacted in Setup Duration.
