  1. Documentation Guides Building and/or using a calculator for a single product “up sale” is relatively easy. But keeping track of all of the calculators built around all of your products can be difficult for your sales team, and for your strategic distributors it can be even more difficult. Distributors have a number of suppliers, and each supplier can have a number of value added product calculators. The result is a need to keep track of hundreds of different calculators, and understanding the differences in using each one. For the salesperson (both internal and external), this increases the time and frustration in documenting solutions, thus reducing the calculator’s intended impact: improved sales/profits for both your company and your strategic distributors. SalesStrat allows you to keep all calculators in one program, using one standard format to help ensure the product is sold on a total cost basis. It also allows for a database of results and the ability to export the Guides to strategic distributors who have their own copy of SalesStrat, thus increasing their ability to sell your products on a Total Cost basis.

  2. SalesStrat Product Guides .45 3.50 1,000 -1 2,000 10.00 8,000 1,000 25 100 250 16 .06 The Guides provide a standard configuration in the form of a question set. To determine the value of switching from one product to another, the salesperson simply answers the questions (with the customer if possible). In this case: changing lighting. Questions can be customized for each product and/or each application of a product if needed.

  3. When the Guide is completed, it automatically fills out a worksheet with costs and savings outlined for the salesperson to discuss with their customer.

  4. Detailed explanations of how the savings were calculated is only one click away for each cost driver. Below is an explanation of the energy savings.

  5. Each Guide can also be set up with an “Auto Text” write up. Simply click here… …and a pre-written description appears that can include blanks and is editable. Making a compelling story for the customer, and requiring little effort by the salesperson.

  6. Each Guide can provide a printed report to send to the end-user customer (if you are dealing directly with them) or to send to the distributor for their work with the end-user.

  7. Return on Investment (ROI) and Payback Period reports can also be provided, with no additional input. As well as, the accumulated savings over 5 years.

  8. Each individual solution/report is automatically added to the database so the total value you provide can be reported to customers in order to prove why you are the supplier of choice. Note: the reports shown here are only a small part of the graphs and report options. You can also run reports by industry, customer location, supplier… and around 10 other variables.
