  2. Prescriptive Reasons in Diet • Prescriptive reasons involves offering dispense food supplies. • It can be getting food for the national consumption • The goal is to get food for the institutional consumption • The target is to obtain nutritional supplementation program.

Diagnostic reasons in diet • Diagnostic reasons involves pointing out the individual or group suffering from any type of malnutrition. • Assessment of the intervention program. • The goal is to find out whether food is found in stock is sufficient for feeding household or country for some time.

  4. Advice for Women on Diet • The unborn child requires the well-nourished and healthy mother to grow in the right way. There is requirement of energy, essential fatty acids, protein, vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, iron, copper, zinc, and iodine.
