  1. Setup Parental Controls on Kindle For Children Ages 9 and Up 1. Pull down from the top to reveal the quick settings menu. Tap Settings.

  2. 2. Tap Parental Controls.

  3. 3. Tap On next to Parental Controls. Then enter your password.

  4. 5. Write down your password, or put it into a password management program such as Last Pass. If you lose or forget your password, you must factory reset the device to make any changes.  Kindle Customer Service
