  2. Winter 2012 Migration • ~1350 courses! More to come. • “From scratch” and converted courses. • Contract person helping tweak converted courses (as necessary). • Training and drop-in sessions continue. • Instructors access UW-ACE until May. • Significant increase in uptake of ePortfolio

  3. Everything’s Peachy? Well … • Hosted site • Intermittent slow system response, timeouts. Various fixes put in place by D2L. • Short database outage (15 min. first Wed.) • WLU, some perf problems; Guelph, db issues over break, perf problems this week • 3500 fees-not-arranged drops on Jan. 3rd. More discussion with Finance and Registrar. • Adds/drop bugs despite much testing in fall

D2L-related meetings • Learning Object Repository (internal, Jan. 11th) • Data retention schedule (with D2L, Jan. 18th) • Electronic marking (CEL demo, D2L demo of project, Jan. 18th) • Analytics (IAP, Student Success, Registrar, etc., demo by D2L, Jan. 31st, 1 – 4:30) • Guelph, WLU, Waterloo discussion (mid Feb.)

  5. Next activities • Final report (75% done) • Feedback (look at 300 responses from fall student survey; get instructor feedback) • New dev system (for next version of LE, LOR, ePortfolio) in Feb. • ANGEL renewal to May 2013 • Upgrade end of April

  6. LEO Retreat February 29th • Big picture directions and planning • Choose and prioritize topics. Examples: • More open access to content (Math, others) • Integrations: eReserves, Maple TA, iClicker(vendor), Quest grades, Web conferencing • Audio and video storage solutions • Analytics • Enhancement requests • Mobile • Etc.
