Transition toOrganizational Excellence 2.0 Highlights Clarifications • Previously earned ratings will be evaluated and converted to the new program • Credit for time-in-service, time-in-grade, service requirements, and rank are retroactive. • Simplified process for approvals • More options • Less course/book work, more skill demonstration • Many education and training requirements are available online at the CAP University website (http://www.capmembers.com/cap_university). • It is not a command track • It is not a specialty track at all

Transition toOrganizational Excellence 2.0 Old New • Technician Rating • Senor Rating • Master Rating • Executive Rating • CAPP 229 • Knowledge acquired through course work and reading • Management Level Designation • Corporate Level Designation • Executive Level Designation • CAPR 50-8 • Demonstrate knowledge gained, Demonstrate skills applied to situation and Successful leadership experience.

To Do List (or may have already been done list) • Organizational Excellence Program Manager (OEPM) appointed in writing • Ideally obtain senior level (old program) or management designation (new program) • Be able to clearly communicate the contents of CAPP 50-9 • Get the word out about OE 2.0 • Recruit and recommend to the commander OE Committee members (and make sure the paperwork gets done). • Recruit and recommend mentors to the OE Committee.

  4. To Do List (or may have already been done list) • OE Committee appointed in writing • Five members, including OEPM (non-voting chair) • Ideally obtain senior level (old program) or management designation (new program) • Be able to clearly communicate the contents of CAPP 50-9 • Work with the OEPM to encourage participation in the OE program.
