Goal To bring together community leaders, individuals, government agencies, nonprofits and schools in order to create integrated solutions to address the most common challenges facing veterans and military families. Challenge Areas *Employment *Higher Education *Behavioral Health *Housing Financial/Legal Issues Family Strength Reintegration Volunteerism

  4. Objectives • Understand our 180 CPs ; develop new partnerships • Strengthen service t0 veterans via our CPs • Develop a local veteran’s resource? • LLN? HOSC? • Establish system of measurement and impact • via CPs and using Sales Force • Engage veterans in volunteer service • Create sustainability

  5. Researched Veteran needs • Created HOSC territories • Prioritized CPs for outreach • Targeted new agencies for outreach • Organized marketing: packet, PPT, pitch, probing questions • Set goals • Set meetings, identify staff member to attend • Veteran Advisory Council Laying the Groundwork
