  1. Our school and our projects Etwinning 2018-2019 In the old part of the city, marked by the effects of the economic crisis, and quite close to the Danube Faleza, there is the "Ion Ghica" Economic College, with 146 years of age.

Currently, the school institution has three building bodies where 941 students, aged between 15 and 19, are assigned the activity in 39 classes as follows: -Technical highschool - 29 classes with qualifications: "Technician in economic activities", "Tehn. in administration "," Tehn. in trade activities ", " Tehn. in tourism ", " Tehn. in gastronomy "; seral - 1 class "Tehn. in gastronomy " - 3 years professional education - 4 classes: with the qualifications: „cook", "Waiter in food", "Confectioner-patiser" and 1 class "2-year professional education" Trader-seller " . • Post-secondary school - 3 classes, "Assistant Management" qualification.

  3. The teaching staff of the school consists of 70 people, auxiliary teaching staff 10, and non-teaching staff - 17 people. Humanistic-social and scientific basic training is provided by a number of 35 teachers of different specialties. The training of economic specialty is provided by 21 professors and 4 professors of practical training.

In the context of European integration, the "Ion Ghica" Economic College had a special participation in the projects and programs meant to ensure the achievement of the main objectives of the European education Thus, a flow of cultural, economic information, educational good practices, the development of school and extra-curricular activities, useful for pupils, teachers, parents and the possibility of changing with schools from: Germany, Slovakia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Turkey

They rely on open door policy and build strategic objectives through cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue. This openness is confirmed in national and international recognition in different fields of activity, from classical music to painting, from industrial design to advertising. Through this project we want to highlight the professional potential of teachers in the formation of future generations.

  6. The last years have been marked by the change in school policy, which has followed the opening of institutional communication channels at all levels. Professionals and students are involved in partnership projects at local, national and international level in various specialized competitions, sports and activities volunteering. Cultural diversity is the element that binds and unites people and countries, new technologies help to deepen the cultural and historical identity, and creativity is at the heart of the European project.
