  3. DISCUSSION GUIDE 2. What is the significance of Paul’s affectionate language towards the Philippians in (Philippians 4:1)? Paul saw the Philippian believers as true brothers and sisters in Christ, who he wanted to be around.

  4. DISCUSSION GUIDE  3. How does Paul call for unity in (v. 2)? He pleaded with two women to agree based on their relationship to the Lord.

To manage your stress effectively, you should do the following: • SET BOUNDARIES IN YOUR LIFE • RESOLVE CONFLICTS QUICKLY • TAKE CARE OF UNPLEASANT TASKS FIRST AND GET THEM OUT OF THE WAY • BE FIRM ABOUT SETTING UP RECOVERY TIMES AFTER PERIODS OF STRESS • KEEP YOUR ADRENALINE AROUSAL TO A MINIMUM • MAINTAIN OPEN AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS • GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK BY LEARNING TO SAY “NO” • POSTPOINE MAKING MAJOR DECISIONS DURING STRESSFUL TIMES • TAP INTO YOUR SPIRITUAL RESOURCES FOR COPING WITH STRESS AND ANXIETY Adapted from The Anxiety Cure by Dr. Archibald D.
