When a child writes they are using their spelling skills • When a child writes the teacher can see the child’s spelling skills in action • Write lots, in lots of different ways and places and you will have lots of spelling words and skills to work on • This will make the learning more powerful, • purposeful and personlised

  7. Students can edit their writing using online tools. Words to be learned can go directly to their 'Words to Learn' List.

  8. Older students can reduce the line spacing as appropriate.

  9. As they write and edit all students can access word lists with NZ audio files.

  10. Artwork can be uploaded to illustrate and motivate writing. These images can be enlarged.
