Welcome to the Neighborhood… The mission of Housing and Residential Life is to provide an inclusive living and learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging where students can pursue academic success and cultivate meaningful relationships within well-maintained facilities. Our student centered approach promotes student learning and development while preparing residents to engage in a diverse and changing society.   5. What is supplied? Provided to a standard double occupancy room… 2 beds Twin Extra Long Mattress 2 desks 2 desk chairs 1 or 2 dressers 2 closets toilet paper Housing & Residential Life

  6. Personalizing Your Room Carpet, a good idea Bed bunking in all halls Items may be hung on walls (if done in a way that will not damage walls & to fire safety specifications) Cleaning supplies Housing & Residential Life

Assignments and Priority Assignment based on deposit and application date Designated 24 hour study spaces available in all halls Muse will be staffed and programmed for first-year students Assignment letters with roommate information will be e-mailed to students’ RU e-mail around 3 week in July Housing & Residential Life

  8. Assignments: Additional Information Mutually requested Roommates: - Whom vs. Where - Placed by the date of later deposit - Must be submitted online by both students No room changes during the first two weeks of classes Housing & Residential Life

  11. Making Changes to Housing Preferences Change of housing preferences can be submitted online up until 5pm on June 1. Change of roommate request (requires mutual request) can be submitted via email res-life@radford.edu. Housing & Residential Life

  12. Move in Day! Move In Days: MUSE HALL – Thursday, August 22nd ALL OTHER HALLS - Friday, August 23rd Bring stackable containers and dollies, label everything Bring Patience Muse Hall will have a staggered opening Housing & Residential Life

  13. Radford University Boarding Policy Students are required to live on campus for four consecutive semesters. Two year contract Housing options to meet your student’s needs Housing & Residential Life
