  3. How Does Destiny Affect Me As the Teacher? Destiny is a resource tool that teachers can use to: • Find media center resources and their status without physically going to the media center (saves time) • Create resource lists for units and for students to access that includes print and online resources (saves time & paper) • View current checkouts (help avoid late, lost, or excessive checkouts) • You can suggest resources for the media center when you identify a gap in the curriculum • Quickly find quality websites related to standards

  5. Standards Search • Choose state (GA) • (Search) by topic or skill, • (Browse) by subject, grade, standard, element

  6. Standards Results • Related websites • Related titles in current collection • Find It feature opens a list of websites approved by educators • Save results to resource lists • Create a bibliography of results

  7. Resource Lists • Add items as you search • Can remove items and/or lists • Create multiple lists • Sort lists • If you are logged in, lists are saved when you log out • Create a customized or general bibliography list that may be printed • Create citations (MLA) & edit if needed

  8. Destiny Quest • Visually appealing search page • Students can design their own page, place holds, view checkouts, create lists, view public lists, create reviews • View top 10 • View new arrivals
