  2. Supplies Needed • Pencil/Pen • Composition Notebook • Textbook • 1 Folder (portfolio)- provided • Loose Leaf Paper • Preferably- Note Cards, Post-Its, EXPO markers

  3. Academic Assistance • Every morning, but on Late Start ( Wednesday) 7-7:30

  4. Homework • Classwork/Homework and Concept Quizzes will be graded on a 0-4 scale • Projects, Vocabulary and Tests will be account for majority of course grade (Projects will not be accepted late) • It is the responsibility of the student when absent to ask the teacher before or after class for the assignment that was missed, or get on my web page. It will have everything for the quarter uploaded and accessible.

  5. Classroom Expectations • Come to class prepared-have paper, pencil, book and homework when class begins. • Listen and follow directions. • Respect yourself and others • Do not prevent another student from learning.

  6. Classroom Expectations • Always do your best, think positively, and plan to succeed. • Follow all school rules/procedures as outlined in the WMDS handbook. • If absent ask teacher before/after class what assignment was missed, check the absent work bin FIRST 

  7. Consequences • Verbal redirection • Move to the Think Seat (Fill out Think Sheet after 5 Think Sheets per quarter contact parents) • Move to the Safe Room (Fill out Behavior Contract/Get Signed by parents) • Team Conference with student or an office referral.

  8. Severe Cause/Immediate Removal from Classroom • Fighting with or threatening other students. • Putting self or others in danger • Physically or verbally out of control • Destruction of property • Refusing to follow teacher’s directions
