  1. 5 LAST-MINUTE TIPS TO BOOST YOUR EXAM PREPARATION, THE EASY WAY! -by EDUKHOJ

  2. OVERVIEW The last 24 hours before the exam are very crucial and can be equally stressful for a student. As a student, your mind might be clouded with all sorts of jitters and apprehensions – whether you have done enough preparation or are there any topics left to revise? Whatever it is, you might be looking for ways to milk your year of hard work to achieve the best possible result in your exams. Presenting five last-minute tips to give your months-long exam preparation a strong finish…

  3. START YOUR DAY EARLY Not a morning person? Well, getting up early gives you all the extra time you need for more revision. You have to make every second count on the last day before your exam; so you may start your day early and make the most of it by the end of the day.

  4. TAKE REGULAR BREAKS Regular breaks are very important to avoid burn-outs. Sitting for longer duration tend to have a weary effect on your mind and body, which in turn, makes you feel more tired and can be really exhausting. To keep your mind active & fresh, you need to mix-up your preparation with regular breaks.

  5. AVOID DISTRACTIONS You can’t afford any distractions before your exam; and what can be the biggest distraction than technology? Say ‘no’ to technology - social media can be very distracting, especially on the last few days of your exam. It can consume most of your preparation time only to leave you with a tired mind and little time for revision.

  6. REVIEW NOTES & SUMMARIES The final day must be treated as the day of revision and consolidation. So focus on reviewing your notes and summaries, rather than going through full chapters. It’s always a good idea to prepare short notes in advance, as they can come real handy on the last day before exam.

  7. AVOID TAKING STRESS The last day before exam is already stressful enough in itself. So, you really do not want to feel more stressed than necessary. Avoid talking to friends/people who make you feel more stressed. Practice meditation or indulge (only for a short while) in some physical recreational activity to keep your mind & body refreshed.

  8. ALL THE BEST! At last, be prepared for the D-Day – the last thing you really want to be doing on the day of your exam is rushing around looking for things. So get everything ready in advance, the day before itself. Make a check-list of all the things you require for your exam like- stationary, watch, water bottle, clothes/uniform, etc. and make sure they are in order a day prior to your exam. The gist is, put together anything and everything in advance that makes your exam-day less stressful. All the Best!
