  3. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You • History: July of 2004 – The Church voiced its desire to progress the Jo Stephenson Challenge into a Capital Fund Campaign. • The “Heritage of Faith Continues” is the result of that desire.

  4. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You Week of Prayer • April 3-9, 2005 • Spend the week praying about what God wants you to do. • Spend time in confession; ask forgiveness • Praise God for his blessings and gifts • Seek to glorify God in prayer

  5. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You • Ask God’s guidance as you respond to this call of giving • You will not be asked for a commitment today. Please take this week in making a prayerful decision

  6. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You • Purpose: To reduce the debt being carried by the Church. • Family Life Center $2,025,497 • Roof $ 18,298 • Parsonages $ 135,123 • Total $2,178,918

  7. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You • Goal: To gather commitments that total $500,000 over the next three years. • These pledges are over and above our current giving to the Church. • All funds gathered in the Capital Campaign will be applied to the principal of our current loans.

  8. Heritage of Faith Continues…through You • All pledges/commitments are confidential • Only the amount given will be reported on the personal quarterly statement supplied by the Church. Pledge/commitment amount will not be reported. • The total amount given in the Capital Campaign will be reported monthly to the Church.
