  2. What is PNW College Credit? Consortium based program that allows high school students to earn DUAL CREDIT high school credit + college credit at the same time Only available when enrolled in Career & Technical Education classes at SHS!

  4. Why register for dual credit? • Tuition has gone up – up – up • 55% increase in 5 years • Community College • 5 credits = $535 • 15 credits = $1325 • University of Washington • 5 credits = $1827 • One quarter = $3652 One year of dual credit (2-5 credits) = $46

  5. Four Simple Steps • Enroll in an eligible CTE course at your high school (You’re already doing this!) • Register for CTE Dual Creditusing our online registration system • Pay the $46 consortium fee All students on free/reduced lunch are eligible for fee waiver • Financial hardship? Submit request via easy form. • Complete your CTE course with a grade of ‘B’ or higher!

(2 sem.) • Teaching Academy (2 sem.)

Need to transfer credit?Attending a different college or university that your transcripting institution? • Order OFFICIAL transcript to be sent to your college • Credits evaluated • Credit is guaranteed at ALL WA cc’s • May transfer to 4 years as well, depends on: • Receiving college • Course and availability at chosen college • Chosen program of study • Outline of steps available on PNW College Connection website https://www.pnwcollegecredit.org/transcripts

  8. Register for Credit Today! Enter through SERS Dual-credit enrollment website: https://www.ctesers.org/ Click “Student” and “Create new SERS account” **If you know your parent’s email it may be easier to register with it so that they receive the confirmation email.**

Your confirmation email should be waiting • Talk to your parents about the $46 fee and decide if it’s something you’d like to move forward with. • Visit https://www.pnwcollegecredit.org/(direct link in your confirmation email) to submit payment.
