SAMR: The Book Report TRADITIONAL: Handwrite a book report • Supplement: Word process and print out • Augment: Put book report on google docs and peer edit • Modify: Share and peer edit, and then publish it for a global audience • Redefine: Collaborate with someone who lives in that setting and co-write a book report.

  9. 2012-13 RLCDistrict team Action plans • Goal is to have a concrete plan in place to address how your district/team will address implementing the Common Core Standards. • Does not have to be achieved by the end of RLC this year • Teams may want to approach as an area of focus rather than a formal action plan • District may already have a plan in place • What part will you address through your work in RLC?

  10. April RLC Meeting • Chance to share our plans with RLC members in order to continue to network and to get feedback and ideas • Templates available for us to help with your planning • Literacy Action Plan template • Area of Focus template
