Overview • Web-based information resource launched November 2007 by UNEP OzonAction in cooperation with Swedish EPA • Objective • Help National Ozone Units & HCFC-using enterprises in Article 5 countries make informed & timely decisions about technologies & policies required to comply with accelerated phase out HCFCs as per MOP Decision XIX/6 • Support preparation of HCFC Phase out Management Plans (HPMPs)

A global & unbiased source • Part of UNEP’s mandate under Montreal Protocol to provide information & capacity building services • Information sourced from range of stakeholders • TEAP/TOC assessment reports, Multilateral Fund & Ozone Secretariats, Implementing Agencies, Governments, Industry & NGOs • Covers the range of commercially-available technology options • Natural refrigerants, not-in-kind options, fluorinated alternatives
