BASIC CONCEPT • Project Description • Entails development of new module for accepting new patent applications to provide a short term solution to alarming situation of PACSYS • An independent system from PACSYS that will reduce connections and workload of PACSYS server, thereby speeding up Duty Officer’s (DO) service and other transactions done in PACSYS • Objectives • Provide an independent working system for Duty Officer in accepting New Applications. • Integrate SOA Preparations for New Applications, eliminating one process, thereby speeding up processing of New Applications. • Reduce the connections and workload of PACSYS server, thus speeding up the Duty Officer services by more than 30%. • Migrate portions of Patent Database into a newer platform.
