  1. “If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed” Lindsey Bell FHS 1500-007 Professor: Mark Jarvis

  2. My name is Lindsey Dee Bell, I was born February 20th 1991 in West Valley City, UT “Work hard, do your own thing and go as far as you can”

  3. Growing Up: During childhood I was taken care of bymymom Yvette and my grandma Deloris; my father chose to not be present in my life. I also have a God-Mother Johnna My mom Yvette My grandmother Deloris “faith- it does not make things easy, it makes them possible” My God-Mother Johnna

  4. 1997 For most of my life my mother was sick. She was diagnosed with cancer when I was a year old; she was able to seek treatment and get better the first time. My mother’s cancer later came back and she passed away June 10th, 1997 at home surrounded by friends and family. My mother fought very hard and was sure to let me know how much she loves me and will continue to love me even though she is no longer with me. “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” –C.S. Lewis

  5. Elementary I attended Farnsworth Elementary from grades Kindergarten – 6th grade. This is where I met my childhood best friend Lyndzie. We instantly became best friends because we had the same name.

  6. Jr. High – I attended JFK Jr. High. Junior High was a highlight growing up, I had the chance to make friends, establish lifelong relationships, and this was the period in which I met my best friend Iman.

  7. Class of 2009 High School I attended high school at Hunter High in West Valley City, UT During I high school I met my other best friend Chalese. I graduated one semester early, and decided to take concurrent enrollment classes through USU to get a head start on college. Chalese and I

  8. College I started college at Salt Lake Community College in the Fall of 2009 I took my general classes for a while because I wasn’t exactly sure what field I wanted to go into. College was an awesome experience for me because it gave me the chance to explore many options. For the first time I was able to choose classes that I wanted to take, not what a curriculum was telling me to take. I also met many different people in college; people from all different places of the world.

  9. 2012 2012 was a big year for me, this was the year I purchased my own home. This was a major milestone in life for me. It took about 6 months to adjust to my new living, but now I absolutely love it!

  10. Now • “ Everything will be fine if you just keep going” Currently I am still working for SLCC, I was recently offered a position that pays more and gives me the chance to educate myself. I continue to attend classes; I am currently working on prerequisites for nursing school. All of the previous experiences has molded me into the person I have becomes today. Without all of these experiences, good or bad I would not be who I am.
