  2. DPCR4 2005-10: Ofgem Criteria • AONBs & National Parks • Limitation on maximum costs per km and total investment • Advice from environmental groups and planning bodies required • Investment reviewed and, if sanctioned, paid retrospectively after 2010 • Voluntary allowance

  8. Review in anticipation of DPCR5: 2010 & beyond Ongoing contact across country All Party Parliamentary Group - AONBs Designated Bodies workshop Electricity Network Association DNO business plans

  9. DPCR5 timetable June 2008: Initial consultation January 2009: Policy paper consultation – response deadline April End June / July 2009: Initial proposals consultation – response deadline early September 2009 P.S. Ofcom & Openreach
