  2. Pledge of Allegiance and Key Club Pledge I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the Objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

  5. What is Key Club about? Key Club is an international student-led community service organization whose goal is to teach leadership through helping. The K Family aims to change the world, one child and community at a time through service. 

  6. Membership Contract – Rules In order to uphold the objects of Key Club, members are expected to be active participants of the organization to remain a member in good standing.

  7. Membership Contract – Rules • Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors must complete 50 hours of service for the entire school year (25 hours per semester) • Seniors must complete 60 hours of service for the entire school year (30 hours per semester)

Membership Contract – Rules Members must track and report monthly the club sponsored services hours and independent services hours. • Meetings count as hours if we serve • ONLy 15 independent hours per semester • For independent hours, the requirements and forms are available on the AHS Key Club website. Photos and sponsor/organizer signatures are required. • NHS hours count as independent hours, follow those requirements • Service hours due end of each month.

  9. Membership Contract – Rules Members must attend at least 4 Social events per semester (2 Club sponsored and 2 independent). • Members must have a sign in sheet documenting the Social event and report the events monthly. • Photos are requested for each social event.

  10. Membership Contract – Rules The service hour requirements for each Club Sponsored event include: • Sign in and out of service events!!! • Attendance is MANDITORY if sign up, can cancel 24 hours before • THERE WILL BE HOURS DEDUCTED IF DO NOT ATTEND SERVICE EVENT SIGNED UP FOR

Membership Contract – Rules AT THE END OF FALL SEMESTER, IF NOT A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING, YOU ARE ON PROBATION! • If a minimum of 15 hours have been completed in the Fall semester (member did not reach 25 underclassmen hours or 30 senior required hours), then the member is required to complete an additional 10 hours ASAP in the Spring semester to reinstate his/her membership. • If a minimum of 15 hours have not been completed during the Fall semester, the member may reinstate membership for the Spring semester by paying dues again to the club and completing the additional 10 service hours ASAP.

  12. Membership Contract – Rules IT IS YOUR DUTY TO KEEP UP OUTSIDE OF THE CLUB! MANY FORMS OF COMMUNICATION!!! Annual dues will be $25. This includes your Key Club International membership and our AHS club t-shirt. Please sign and return the attached contract form with your membership payment and return to the Key Club

  19. Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. To eliminate MNT from the Earth, more than 100 million mothers and their future babies must be immunized. This requires vaccines, syringes, safe storage, transportation, thousands of skilled staff and more. It will take US$110 million — and the dedicated work of UNICEF and every member of the Kiwanis family.

  21. You can do your part as an individual!! Donate $5 for 1 service hour!

  24. If you want to Participate… YOU MUST FILL OUT THE PARENT CONCENT FORM ON THE KEY CLUB WEBPAGE UNDER ALLEN HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. Arrive 20 minutes early to first Angel League for training!!!

Kiwanis Luncheon Who: 3 – 5 Key Club members What: Lunch with the Kiwanis International of Allen Where: Twin Creeks Golf Course When: Thursday September 13th at 11:45AM – 1:00PM Why: To be more involved with our Kiwanis International in Allen ***Will not be counted absent from class! Will be excused ***There are signup sheets available ***Cannot just sign up for them all…there is a limit

  26. SIX FLAGS T-O District Fall Rally Who: All Key Club members What: A day for members of all the branches of the Kiwanis Family to come together to bond as a family and have a grand old time. Where: Six Flags Over Texas When: Saturday September 29th ***$30 per person!!! ***There are signup sheet available ***DEADLINE FOR GOING IS THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH! ***working on bus might need ride otherwise…
