  1. LCGT Cryogenics Subgroup Status of construction • Cryostat 4 sets + Duct Shield 2 sets • Procurement and machining of parts in 2011fy • Assembling and factory tests in 2012fy • 2011fy contract with Toshiba in September. • 4K Cryocooler • CLIO type vibration reduction • Manufacture 7 sets in 2011fy and 9sets in 2012fy. • 2011fy contract with Torisha in September. • 80K PTC for cooling duct shield • Manufacture 2 coolers by Nihon Air Water in 2011fy. • Kashiwa Cryostat (1/4 Cooling System) • For verifying cryogenic payload • Design in progress 2011.11.08 LCGT Collaboration Meeting

  2. LRIP ? ? Akeno Akeno 2 sets of Cryo. Payload Manufacture Design Cooling unit for suspension Install at Kashiwanoha

  3. Cryogenic payload (1)Collaboration with Rome University Thermal simulation as first step (Koike (KEK)) (2)Collaboration with U.S.A. group (3) Preparation of ¼ cryostat at Kashiwa is in progress. (4) Parameters : Thermal parameters are prepared (Yamamoto). Mechanical parameter must be prepared as soon as possible. (5)R&D : Initial cooling time (Sakakibara), Sapphire bonding (Suzuki, Ushiba, Shibata, I thank Ohmae for his introduction), Sapphire fiber with thick end (Uchiyama, Yamamoto), Material of mass and wires (Tokoku), Soft spring for vertical vibration isolation at cryogenic temperature(Ishizaki) 3
