Week 2 Seminar Material Create a chart by following these steps: • Click the Data Tools link at the top of the homepage. • On the “Data Tools” page, click the Policy Analysis link on the left side of the page • The “Policy Analysis Tool Overview” page appears. • At the top of this page, click the link "Click here to go to the Policy Analysis Tool now" • The “Build Your Own Policy Agendas Query” page appears in a new window. • Scroll down this page, locate the “Energy” topic (located on a blue row), and select the “Alternative and Renewable Energy” subtopic. You should NOT select any of the available filters. • Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the SEARCH! button. A chart is produced on screen. • To save the chart, right-click on it and click Save Picture As on the pop-up menu. • Discuss the chart produced, specifically reasons for the spike in the mid-1970s to early 1980s.
