  2. Once upon a time there was a lovely princess. ooh She was locked in a castle room at the top of the Never-Ending stairs.

  3. One day a handsome prince…… aah came riding………….

  4. over the hills……. and down in the valleys.

  5. The prince….. aah said, “I’m looking for the beautiful……………………………….

  6. princess. ooh The townspeople said, “She is locked in a castle room at the top of the Never-Ending Stairs. She cannot get out, though she begs on her knees, until the Troll hears her sneeze!”

  7. The prince…. aah smiled and picked a red rose. Then he began to climb the Never-Ending Stairs.

  8. He climbed higher than the trees.

  9. He climbed higher than the clouds.

  10. He climbed higher than the stars.

  11. Finally, he reached the tearful princess. ooh

  12. He handed her the red rose and softly smiled.

  13. She sniffed the rose and sniffed again. Before you know it, she started to Choo! ah ah ah The townspeople heard her and the Troll heard her too! The locked door swung open and she quickly stepped through.

  14. The prince….. aah and the princess… ooh came running down the Never-Ending Stairs.

  15. Down past the stars, ……………………

  16. down past the clouds……………….

  17. down past the trees.

  18. They jumped on the prince’s horse and went riding over the hills……. and down in the valleys……………

  19. until they found the land of Happily-Ever-After.
