  1. Our Report on The Mixed Up Files By Gleb and Wyatt

  2. E.L. Konigsburg E.L. Konigsburg lived from 1930 to 2013. She died on April 19 at the age of 83. She won five awards for her books. E.L. Konigsburg wrote 21 books. She had three children.

  3. The Newbery Medal The Newbery Medal was named after the writer John Newbery. The medal is awarded annually. The award started in 1922.

  4. Mrs. Frankweiler Mrs. Frankweiler is the kind of person who likes to get down to the point. She is kind and does not break a promise. For example, when she said if Claudia and Jamie told her all of the details of when they ran away, they would get a ride home in the Rolls Royce. Mrs. Frankweiler has white hair and her top lip is curled against her teeth. Basically she looks like an 83 year old woman.

  5. Claudia Claudia is smart and simple. An example of Claudia being simple is when she was telling Jamie the running away plans, she said it had to be simple to work. Claudia is an 11 year old girl with medium-long, dark hair.

  6. Jamie Jamie is a bright, adventurous, young man. He loves to make jokes and is a big believer in saving money. Jamie really likes to play “War.” Jamie has dark hair like his sister. He is about a head shorter than Claudia.

  7. A Summary of The Mixed Up Files A girl named Claudia decides to run away. She takes her brother Jamie with her. They spend a week in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The children see a statue called Angel. Claudia and Jamie give a letter to the head of the museum. They receive mail that makes Claudia cry. Then the children take a train to Farmington, Connecticut. The children go to see Mrs. Frankweiler and find out if Michelangelo made Angel and they found out he did. Then they got a ride home the Rolls Royce.

  8. Book Review We liked that the book had lots of adventure. We didn’t like is that Claudia cried in chapter eight. It was really boring. We would recommend this to a friend who likes adventure because this book has lots of adventure.
