  2. Agenda • Current status of work; • Traff-20, VC=6, Revision 1; • Changes made since February 2011; • Future work;

Current Status • Traff-20 VC6 Rev 1 Test Release – Build 102(dated 24th May 2011). • Traff-20 test versions supplied to controller manufacturers; • Test version 102 supplied on 24th May 2011; • Targeting Traff VC6 build 1 release; • Failed to meet original target ie first controller in the field to correspond with SCATS release in June 2011;

  4. Current Status of QTC Controller • QTC provided hardware and software for the test controller on 3rd February; • Estimated software delivery at the end of October.

  5. Current Status of Eclipse Controller • Tyco provided hardware updates to the test controller on 9th November; • Estimated software delivery end of January 2012; • Aside Tyco expressed a desire to minimise future changes to PSC software: – affects porting of some VC6 changes;

  6. Current Status of ATSC/4 Controller • ATC have only just started making changes for Traff-20 VC6. • ATC have been concentrating on Type Approval; • Field trial of ATSC/4 version 8.1 scheduled for11th December;

  15. Changes Since Last SMUG Meeting (February 2011) • RAM address $3603 indicates runtime library version(release is targeting 1); • RAM address $3604 indicates hht version(release is targeting 1); • RAM addresses added to allow remote checking of the controller software build switches used;

  17. Changes Since Last SMUG Meeting (February 2011) • Wintraff: • Mostly complete for VC6; • Waiting for final testing before available to release;

  18. Changes Since Last SMUG Meeting (February 2011) • NGEN: • Handover to RMS effective 17th November 2011; • Minor changes required before ready for newTraff VC6 personality; • Will manage both VC6 and VC5 personalities;

  19. Future Changes • More Phases; How many? • New communications protocol;  NTCIP? • Plan based operation; take pressure of comms • Change to time settings and time settings management; needs to be extensible;- Work related to new comms protocol

  20. Future Changes • Plug and play type operation; • Serial communications allowing the Personality to setup and test messages eg RS-485;  System • One mode of operation; • Additional Personality Operators;

  21. Future Changes • Maybe Fill gaps in I/O; TSC/4 Controllers Support: • 96 – 128?? Inputs max. • 48 - 64 Loop Inputs max. • 48 - 64 Switch Inputs max. TSC/4 Specifies: • 64 Inputs max. • 64 Logical Vehicle Detectors max. • 8 Logical PB Inputs max. • 32 Loop Inputs max. • 64 Switch Inputs max. (with 8 PB Inputs max.)
