  1. GLS PALLET MOVEMENTLIFT DRIVER SCREENS

  2. Putaways • Putaway drivers and replenishment drivers will both login and use the same GLS screen. They will log in with their ID, password, and pick their TPR shift number. • Receiving Managers will need to use the Assign/Unassign Drivers screen to manager their lift line (see next slide for example.) Have lift drivers use their numeric login. • Lift drivers will only be allowed to complete putaways in the aisles they are assigned to. Once logged in they will see a list of putaways currently in their aisle range. They can choose a move or scan off on any pallet as they approach them down the aisle. • You will see the receiving tags showing a “1 of 2” and “2 of 2” on the bottom, or possibly “1 of 3”, “2 of 3”, and “3 of 3” for some aisles. This is letting the lift driver know how many pallets are being received to that same slot. The correct putaway process to prevent Alpha errors is to putaway the highest # first, i.e. 2 of 2 or 3 of 3 goes in first! • This will help with Alpha Order since DCS2 will not be available to them anymore. • Alpha Order does not go away! This procedure must still be followed. The pallet ID method still works.

  3. Replenishments • Replenishment drivers will log in with their ID, password, and their TPR shift number. • Shipping Managers will need to use the Assign/Unassign Drivers screen to manager their lift line (see previous slide for example). The Assign/Unassign Aisles no longer exists. • Replenishment drivers will be able to choose the move they want within their assigned aisle range. If there is a priority move within their range it will turn red on their list of moves. They can only bypass this move twice before they must make the move or place it on hold with a reason. • Full Pulls will no longer be worked through the T2 unit. They will be assigned in the same fashion as other lift drivers and 5 moves at a time will populate their list. They will not receive a new full pull(s) until all 5 are done. • There is a “print label” button on the screen which will allow them to print their labels to a desired printer. Option to print one or all labels will appear. • They will need to scan the pallet tag and shipping tag to complete a full pull move to release it from their screen. (Jumps do not have to scan a pallet tag).

  4. release move so you can select another (limited number of uses) refresh screen it's now in your hands for full pulls

  5. Scroll thru up to 10 moves at a time (all of the same priority)

  6. If you put a move on HOLD, Make sure you select the proper Reason Code!

  7. EXAMPLES: Pallet Not There Damages Bad pallet Double Slot Prime Full Restack Too Tall

  8. Replenishments • Shipping Managers will need to use the Assign/Unassign Drivers screen to assign aisles & move type. • Replenishment drivers will be able to choose the move they want within their assigned aisle range. If there is a priority move within their range it will turn red on their list of moves. They can only bypass this move twice before they must make the move or place it on hold with a reason. • Log in • Select move • Scan pallet ID, let system process while driving to Pick Slot. • Scan Pick Slot, let system process while cutting wrap/tape. • When move is completed, screen will refresh with highest priority list. • Functionality for scanning a pick slot will not come until Phase II.

  9. Full Pulls • Shipping Managers will need to use the Assign/Unassign Drivers screen to assign aisles & move type. • Log in • System shows 5 Full Pull moves • Select move • Scan pallet ID, let system process while driving to dock. • Select Print Label to get Shipping Label • Scan Shipping Label • Scan Shipping door when dropping off • Next 5 moves will show when all 5 are completed

  10. JUMPS • We will continue to do Jumps the way we do now: • Shipping supervisor completes all Jump moves, sorts labels by route, and the loaders or designated associate will pull the pallets as needed.
