The library's collection The principal part of the library's collection comprises scientific books, textbooks, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, handbooks, periodicals, reference books, technical documentation, theses and manuscripts. The electronic catalogue • Since 1994 all the new literature is introduced into the Electronic Catalogue • This is the union catalog of 8 Latvian libraries of national significance • Retrospective conversion • Z39.50 • 60 % of documents are loaned by Circulation module BALTECH, May 25-26, 2010

Electronic Resources Information about databases - Library homepage - RTU homepage, RTU Information Centre, - E-mails to academic staff and students (18.000) - RTU portal “ORTUS” The subscribed and the trial access databasesare available in the RTUnetwork with authorization through IP addresses.
