Objectives of the project • Lectures about “Biotechnology in Mining” at NMU • 5 weeks practical trainings for students at TU BAF • Double supervising of master's diploma work • Round tables on the subject of the project • Field trip • Creation of the primary laboratory on biomining at NMU • Organization of the international scientific conference for master students and young researchers “Applied Biotechnology in Mining”

  8. Taking mine water samples for chemical analysis

  9. Study of Acid Mine Drainage phenomena

  10. Investigation of the bioleaching processes at the microbiological lab

  12. Microscopy of typical bacteria in mine waters

  13. Cultivation of microorganisms and investigation of their activity

  14. Final presentations
