  6. Faculty Contract Compensation for new and existing online/hybrid courses “created in their entirety.” College retains “ownership of the course materials that were developed up the point the online or hybrid course is deemed to be complete and acceptable.”

  7. Collaborative Process Conducted survey Shared results with stakeholders Seek feedback from AGC Seek approval of academic policy Assist with periodic review of standards

  8. Survey Administration Sent e-mail and reminder to all faculty. Requested help with leading or participating. Used QM Rubric as a starting point, but encouraged other suggestions.

  9. Survey Results Received 38 responses. Received 12 offers to assist/lead. Decided to first share results with DL FAB and 12 faculty who responded. http://bit.ly/SurveyDLStandards

  11. Proposed Policy All online and hybrid courses will adhere to the GRCC Distance Learning Standards. The Distance Learning Faculty Advisory Board will review these standards on an annual basis. The AGC will approve any recommended changes.

  12. Table Discussion Purpose: Provide initial feedback on proposed policy and standards. Method: Review each standard and answer table discussion question. Result: Written or e-mail gbrand@grcc.edu.

  13. Discussion Questions What are the advantages? What are your/your department's concerns? What needs to be clarified? What support do you need? What is missing? Any other comments?
