The role of a test environment manager is not as easy as it seems. Allocating resources and personnel to different processes in a fast-paced environment is quite complex, especially when conditions are changing rapidly. • There are many instances you can find on the public domains where projects failed due to incompetency of test environment managers and it might hurt organizations very severely. • There are instances when the project falls behind the schedule or more often than not, projects might arrive at testing and verification ahead of schedule. It might help them in the short run, but the main issue here is massive inefficiencies and lost opportunities for reclaim and reuse of environments.
