OneStopSolutionForGettingTheEPCCertificateInTheUKis EPCGO Energy Performance Certificates were introduced in 2007 and are now a legal requirement whenabuildingissold,rented,orbuilt.AnEPC is valid for ten years after it is issued. Band A houses are the most energy efficient and should have the lowest fuel bills. The Certificate will tell you the energy efficiencyof your home on a scale of A-G, as well as the potential scaleafter improvements are made, with 'A' being the most efficient home.
