  2. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God Greetings - Susan • Good afternoon everyone… • Thankyou for coming today…. • I / we pray that you will be blessed beyond your wildest dreams starting today, and that today won’t be just a one day or moment in God’s presence – and then never again.. • But rather that Today should just be the Start of a whole new life for you… in God’s Love and Presence • But I want to give you a hint: it all starts with checking your heart now and ask yourself: • How hungry are you ???? • and How much do you want God Himself to manifest in your life • as well as How much do you want the things of God – which is coming with His Presence and His Kingdom…?? • ‘cause I want to start today with the words that Jesus started His ministry in Mat 4 – and which He also taught His disciples later to say the same – in Mat 10:7: • Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." • Mat 10:7 And proclaim as you go, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' • As The Kingdom of God has come – 2000 years ago already – and it is available for you here and now – TODAY…this very hour…!!!! • Just receive it today – through FAITH – saying: AMEN – I agree – and I Receive !!! • THUS: if anything we say today – that you want in your life – make a verbal proclamation – that you believe it – and that you receive it – by saying AMEN..!! • Please don’t be quiet – but rather talk with us – stay on track with us… stay in agreement  • ‘Cause we have an awesome promise from Jesus himself in Mat 18: • Mat 18:19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. • THUS: Let us all come into agreement – that we want God, we want Jesus, we want the Holy Spirit and we want the Kingdom of God to its Fullest..!!! • …….

  3. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God Introduction • NOW: I don’t know if it is just me – but when I first heard about Revival – and Revival Fire – I first of all got a bit scared of it all – and then when it seemed like – but nothing seems to be happening during these meetings - I started asking God – what is this all about… none of it made any sense to me…and I was very confused… • Is there anyone here today – that is either at that stage – or that has at some stage or the other wondered – what is all this talk about – and why does it look like nothing ever happens when you are in a revival service…!?!?!? • OR even – you experience all this awesomeness of God during such a service – and then tomorrow when you wake up – all is gone, and it is just a wonderful memory – and you search and long for another service like that – and it is like you become addicted to these services..etc.. • Well, I want to help you first of all to get a better understanding of it all today • And also – to help you maintain the atmosphere and anointing and to stir it up inside of you tomorrow morning when you wake up – when it feels like all is gone again… • The good news is – it isn’t gone – God hasn’t left you…and the power and anointing of God is there inside of you and with you still tomorrow morning – the only problem is – your emotions came to rest during the night – and now it “feels” like all is gone… • But God and His presence isn’t about feelings alone – it is actually First about Faith !!! • ‘CauseIF you can choose to believe that God is still with you – even when you feel like He has gone overseas somewhere…and forgotten all about you… • you will start seeing slowly how God will manifest Himself little by little in your life on a daily basis… • As He hasn’t gone.. He is going home with you tonight..!!! • THUS: Make Psalm 121 your own today…!!! • Psa 121:1-4 ….I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel (you) will neither slumber nor sleep. • Psa 121:5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

  4. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God Be Wet with the Spirit • So – let’s open our bibles at 1 Kings 17 – and let’s look at a Revival that occurred in Israel many many years ago – long before there were Revival Fire Meetings… • I’m sure most of you know or have heard the story of Elijah – who one day walked up to King Ahab and proclaimed that there won’t be rain for a period, until Elijah appears before him again and says that it will rain… • An it took 3½ years – before Elijah eventually did come back again and said – ok – the rain is coming… • Well, to bring you a little into the picture…we had 1 hot and dry summer now – imagine it continues like this for another 3 years…until there is absolutely nothing left – no water – no food, nothing for the animals to feed on – that is for the animals that are still barely alive… • Look @ Verse 3: - After Elijah appeared before King Ahab the first time - God spoke to Elijah – to go to a little stream – of natural flowing water – the Brook… named Cherith (“Keryth” meaning a cut) • Note: this isn’t a large river – like the Nile – or Great Zambesi river…that will take a while to dry up… • No – God took Elijah – to a small stream in Palestine Cherith – and there He fed him morning and evening by the Ravens (of all the birds..!!)…unfortunately the Bible doesn’t tell us for how long that was… but we can determine that it wasn’t just a few days or months…it was quite a while… • God literally hide Elijah there – and no one found him – even though King Ahab sent out men in all directions to look for Elijah on a regular basis…(see Chapter 18:1-16) • But then this little Brook eventually dried up as well – verse 7 • NOTE: Verse 8/9 – God didn’t speak to Elijah to go to Zarephath (meaning: refinement) also in Palestine – until that Brook Cherith dried up fully..!!! • i.e. We can get anxiously so quickly when things just look like it is going to dry up and we can’t see a way out as yet – but it isn’t written that Elijah complained to God first before God answered him (like Moses did a few times in Exo while he was leading the Israelites)… Elijah was waiting there at Cherith patiently – till God spoke..!!! • That is FAITH & TRUST in GOD to the depth of your being…!!! • Look at Verse 10 – Elijah was looking for the Widow God Promised him that will fed him… God didn’t show him her face – or tell him her name nothing – he had to walk by faith and look for her… • And he first tested her – to see if she would be willing to give him some precious water – as the water has been drying up across the country

  5. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God Be Wet with the Spirit • As you can see in Verse 11 - She was very willing to immediately go and fetch him some water… • THUS: Elijah then pushed things a little further – and asked for something to eat too.. • Look at her reply in verse 12: • 1Ki 17:12 And she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die." • Then note the following conversation in Verse 13-14: • 1Ki 17:13 And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. • 1Ki 17:14 For thus says the LORD the God of Israel, 'The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'" • Here Elijah Prophesied to her and showed himself to be a prophet… but it was still up to the Widow to decide whether she wanted to believe him, and the word that he spoke.. And through her obedience, and walking by faith and she did as he asked / prophecied – they lived and didn’t die – for many days… • 1Ki 17:15-16 And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the LORD that he spoke by Elijah. • The rest of Chapter 17 even spoke of her son that died – and then her doubt kicked in again whether Elijah was truly a prophet of God (see verse 18)… the miracle of the oil and flower not running out was still ok-ish…but when her son got sick and died – then her faith was shaken to its core… • See verse 24 – after Elijah prayed for her son, and gave him back to her – alive and well… • 1Ki 17:24 And the woman said to Elijah, "Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is truth." • This reminds me of King Jehoshaphat – when he saw how God delivered them from their enemies – then he could speak with confidence knowing who his God is – like this widow…: • 2Ch 20:20 And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the LORD your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed / prosper…."

  6. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God Be Wet with the Spirit • NOW: the reason why I started in chapter 17– is to show you – we can learn and take confidence from other people’s breakthrough that they received from God, to boost our faith again and to give us hope…and not to faint when it looks like things aren’t going to go according to what it looks like • Meaning we can “Fan the Flame” in our lives – and also in other people’s lives…through Encouragement • And that is why we are here today – to come and Fan the Flame of Faith in your lives today..!!! • We are here to stir your hearts to receive from God what you are believing Him for – and not to give up… • As some of you are very weary and tired already – and think this is the end – this summer was just too much for me – the heat – the drought … the Economy.. It was just too much…!! • I want to tell you today – don’t despair – God hasn’t given up on you – He is here today – still in time to assist you – and to lift up your spirit again – and bring you answers you never thought possible…!!! • He loves you – as I said earlier – He hasn’t left – we just need to know how to STIR up our Faith – and Prophecy again over our “seemingly dead” situations – like the dry bones in Eze 37 • Call those winds from the 4 corners of the world – and speak to it – to bring the Breath of God again.. • So we can say like Isa did in Isa 40…. • Isa 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. Why do you say,…., and speak, ….., "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God"? • Isa 40:28-30 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; • Isa 40:31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. • The ministry God gave us – isn’t called Cry of An Eagle for Nothing… • God new what our name would mean – looong before it really made sense to us… • And we have seen it in practice a few times too already… so receive what God is saying to you today.. And make this message your own…. Be uplifted – and take courage… God is For you – not against you.!! • This is a good place to say AMEN !!!! 

  7. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God The First Revival Fire • Let’s now turn over to 1 Kings Chapter 18..and continue with the story… • Verses 1 to 16 is where Elijah met Obadiah (meaning: serving Jah) after Ahab and Obadiah split up in order to see if they can still find green pastures for their animals… • See Obadiah’s reaction after Elijah met him – he was in terrible shock and thought Elijah is going to cause King Ahab to kill him, as they couldn’t find Elijah anywhere before, and now all of a sudden here Elijah is standing right in front of him…asking him to go and call king Ahab and say he has found Elijah… • Then From Verse 17-20 – Elijah asked King Ahab to gather the prophets of Baal to meet him at Mount Carmel • 1Ki 18:18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim. • 1Ki 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. • Then from Verse 20 onwards is where I want us to focus more intensely at the proceedings on Mount Carmel that day… • 1Ki 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. • 1Ki 18:22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men. • 1Ki 18:23-24 Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken. • And from verse 25 – 29 the Prophets of Baal would set everything up – and cry out to their “god” till late that afternoon – begging for Fire to fall on their offering – but nothing would happen.. • Notice – that they would even cut themselves as their custom was (v28) – and which is a tendency amongst our teenagers nowadays that they would also cut themselves for all kinds of reasons… • This is not a Godly action at all…it is coming from the idol worshippers through all the ages and generations already… Please I beg of you, if you are one of them, please repent and ask God to help you to stop it… you are not bringing any Glory to God through your actions…

  8. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God The First Revival Fire • Let’s pick up the story at verse 30: • 1Ki 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down. (because of the past no one worshipped nor offered there to God anymore…) • 1Ki 18:31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name: • 1Ki 18:32 And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed. • 1Ki 18:33 And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood. • 1Ki 18:34 And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. • 1Ki 18:35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. • 1Ki 18:36-37 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. • 1Ki 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. • 1Ki 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. • In verse 40 – Elijah ordered Israel to kill all 450 baal prophets - and they were all killed at the brook Kishon (meaning winding) – getting rid of all twistedness from their midst – and clear the way of God • In verse 41 – Elijah told King Ahab to get ready for the rain is coming in abundance – and then Elijah went up the mountain Carmel again – and praying for the rain to come…and he didn’t came down – until his servant came and told him – that he sees a little cloud on the horizon… • And then by the Spirit – Elijah outran King Ahab’s chariots before the rain…and they raced to Jezreel (meaning: God will sow) – God will bring the Increase after the rains fell (Isa 55, 1 Cor3:6-7)

  9. Revival Fire THROUGH the LOVE of God The First Revival Fire • Now I want to tell you about a dream I had in August 2012: • I dreamed the following: • In about 3 years time – on a cold winters day Revival Fire is going to fall, but first the Dry Wood must get wet… • And then God led me to this passage in 1 Kings 18… • Meaning: • God says that like in Elijah’s days – first we have to be restored in our Faith in God – thus be wet by the Holy Spirit’s presence again… • And then God can pour out His Fire in our Hearts… • Now some may wonder – what is this Fire of God…. • Well, Moses wrote In Deut 4:24 –that our God is a Consuming Fire – a Jealous God… • A Consuming Fire (or a Devouring Flame) – is a Flame that Burns Continuously – it will never cease to exist!!! • Song 8:6 Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD. • Meaning: God’s LOVE is so intense – that it can only be associated with Fire, an endless Burning Flame • God showed me a vision once – that His LOVE became so intense for His whole creation – that a flame burst forth from His Heart – and it just grew bigger and stronger over time • See John the Baptist – when he was referring to the Messiah….even he understood that Jesus will baptize people with the Holy Spirit and with FIRE…. • Mat 3:11 "I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. (see also Luk 3:16) • THUS: nothing to be afraid of – but rather something to be desired, and to ask God for it..!!!! • THUS: First we want to pray and minister to you today – to become wet in the Spirit of God – be drenched with His Presence….and to remove anything that is holding you back to receive from God.. • And then – we will pray for the FIRE of God, to come and fill you with His Burning Love – to start burning in you – so that you can take Him home with you, and not ever be the same after today…. • And that my fellow saints of God – is the purpose of the Revival Fire of God…and thus why we are here today… Open your hearts & Receive Him today – I beg of you…you won’t be sorry !!!! ***** A M E N *****
