  1. How do I write my first resume?

  2. You're sitting in front of a computer for hours, staring at a blank Word page, with only one purpose in mind: drafting your first job resume. What do you do first? And, most crucially, how do you fill those 1-2 pages with work experience when you don't have any? We understand your plight, and we're here to assist you!

  3. Pick the right resume format There are three basic resume templates to choose from. Each one focuses on a different aspect of your resume. • Reverse-Chronological Resume - Your work history and education are listed in reverse-chronological order in this style. • Functional Resume - This format emphasizes your talents and accomplishments rather than your work experience. • Hybrid (or Combination) Resume - This approach emphasizes both your talents and employment experience. We advocate using the reverse-chronological style for 99 percent of job searchers.

  4. It's critical for the recruiter to be able to contact you in at least two methods. On other words, your contact information should always be included in your resume. This includes the following: • First and last name • Email • Phone number • Location • When it comes to your contact information, the most important thing to remember is to spell everything accurately. Contact Information

  5. Include a resume objective Recruiters review each resume for an average of 7 seconds before deciding if it is worth further consideration. That means you just have around 7 seconds to make a good first impression and persuade the recruiter that you're the right person for the job. This is something that a solid resume objective will take care of for you. A resume objective is a two- to three-sentence summary of your skills, accomplishments, and career objectives. Its goal is to communicate your desire to work in this profession as well as your interest in this specific career.

  6. To begin, you should understand how to properly list your educational information in the following format: • Program name • University name • Years attended • GPA • Honors Include Education section
