Summary & Conclusion • NBI-positive legions coincided with those with ulcers or non-ulcer lesions exhibiting hemorrhages by hydrodistension recognized during conventional cystoscopy. • NBI-positive lesions coincided with those with high expression of angiogenic factors. • NBI system to be a revolutionary method to detect bladder lesions associated with IC/PBS without hydrodistension in outpatients who complain of pelvic pain, urinary frequency and persistent urge to void.
