  3. This page will show you a list of your student’s classes, teachers, two weeks of attendance, their current grade, and the total absences for the semester for each class.

  4. At the top of this page is the toolbar. The toolbar will take you to different pages within Powerschool. Graduation progress is not something that is filled in at the middle school level so that page will be blank.

  5. When you click on Email Notification in the toolbar you will be directed to this page:

  6. On the Email Notification page you can sign up to receive emails detailing your student’s progress at school. You can determine what you want sent to you and how often.

  7. If you click on School Bulletin in the toolbar you will get a page that looks like this:

  8. The School Bulletin page will give you important information on current and upcoming Excelsior events.

  9. Back to the Grades and Attendance page:

  10. In order to see all of the assignments for a particular class you need to click on the grade for that class, not the teacher. When you click on the grade you will be directed to the Score Detail page that lists all of the students assignments and the grade or score they earned on those assignments for that specific class. This page will also tell you the due date for the assignment.

  11. The Score Detail page will give you information such as late assignments (L) or missing assignments (MI).

  12. If your child has a score that is highlighted or a different color you can click on that score to bring up the comments. Example page of highlighted score:

  13. Example of comments after clicking on highlighted score. In this case the student was able to redo the assignment and receive a higher score.
