Campus-Wide Site License Available • We have a campus-wide site license to ChemBioOffice Ultra (Windows users) and ChemBioDraw Ultra (Mac users). • Current students, faculty, and staff with these email domains are eligible to use ChemBioOffice Ultra. • @stanford.edu • @slac.stanford.edu • @globalecology.stanford.edu • To verify that you are affiliated with Stanford, go to http://sitelicense.cambridgesoft.com/sitelicense.cfm?sid=188and enter your Stanford domain email address. 

  3. Site License Verification You must verify your account once per license period (20 Jan 2013 – 30 Jan 2015) Enter Stanford domain email address

  4. Verification continued & Download Software Press Continue to download software

  5. Download Link & Serial Number (Registration Code) If you do not receive a serial number (Registration Code) in a minute or two via email, you will need to get it from CambridgeSoft’s website.

From CambridgeSoft’s Website: How to Download Software & Get Registration Code • Create Account/login on the CambridgeSoft website http://www.cambridgesoft.com • Click on My Account in upper right corner of page • View Services on middle right side of page. a. Download software: click on "My Site License“ • Get Registration Code: click on "My Downloads."  See screenshots on following pages

  11. Potential Problem –Registration Code is NOT Displaying in My Account If you have not verified your account for a new license period, no Registration Codes will display in the My Downloads. After verifying your account (see page 3), Registration Codes should appear. If not, please contact graceb@stanford.edu

  13. Reactivating Installed Software With an Expired Registration Code 1. Get new Registration Code: Sign in to CambridgeSoft website http://www.cambridgesoft.com and click on "My Downloads" from the “My Account” page to get a new registration key. 2. Launch software and then copy and paste Registration Code for ChemBioOffice Ultra or ChemBioDraw Ultra. After launching program: a. Windows: Go to Help in menu bar and choose Activate. b. Mac: Go to ChemBioDraw Ultra in menu bar and choose Activate.

  14. Alternate Access • On Cluster Computers: This software is already installed on 700 computers that require SUNet authentication in libraries, residences, and computer clusters. • On CDSERVER: ChemBioDraw and ChemBio3D are available for use via web browser and Citrix plugin on CDSERVER. Go to http://cdserver.stanford.edu . Login with SUNet ID and go to Chemistry folder. For more details, please see http://lib.stanford.edu/swain/computing/offcampus • For Computer Cluster Administrators: If you are managing a cluster of computers that are owned by Stanford, there is an alternate Registration Code available. Please contact graceb@stanford.edu for more information.
