Rotary Centres for International Studies Derran Moss Rotary Centers for International Studies • Partnered with eight leading universities around the world, establishing seven Rotary Centres • To advance knowledge and world understanding among potential future leaders We care for Foundation Alumni

  5. Simona Pinton Rotary Centres for International Studies Rotary Centers for International Studies • Up to 70 scholars selected each year • First three classes of World Peace Scholars are citizens of 63 countries • 39% of these scholars are from low-income countries We care for Foundation Alumni

Group Study Exchange Group Study Exchange • Provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries • A team consists of four non-Rotarian young professionals and one Rotarian who leads the group • All Rotarians are eligible to apply as team leaders We care for Foundation Alumni

Ambassadorial Scholarships Ambassadorial Scholarships André Mechelynck • Established in 1947 to further international understanding • The world's largest privately funded international scholarships program • 36,000 scholars from 110 countries have served as ambassadors of goodwill We care for Foundation Alumni

Rotary Grants for University Teachers Grants for University Teachers • Provides funds to higher education faculty to travel abroad to teach in developing countries • Establishes ties between higher education institutions, for the global exchange of ideas and information Dr. Peter Markesteyn We care for Foundation Alumni

  11. How to better look after our Alumni? • 1. Update Alumni records • 2. Appoint Alumni to club projects… • 3. Support Alumni subscriptions to The Rotarian magazine • 4. Enforce Alumni attendance at orientation sessions
