Use stations looking at day side Change normalization factor dBz /|dB| -> dBz /B 0

Use stations looking at day side Change normalization factor dBz /|dB| -> dBz /B 0 for observed data, B 0 =(Bx ^ 2+By^2+Bz^2)^0.5 for estimated data, B 0 =5nT. For both method, c heck 5 good correlation events (coefficient > 0.5 for either dBz or normalized dBz )

  1. Use stations looking at day side • Change normalization factor dBz/|dB| -> dBz/B0 for observed data, B0=(Bx^2+By^2+Bz^2)^0.5 for estimated data, B0=5nT

  2. For both method, check 5 good correlation events (coefficient > 0.5 for either dBzor normalized dBz) and see how it changes
