Other Places to visit When visiting Brazil you should also visit these places • Iguazu Falls One of the world’s most stunning natural wonders, it has a series of magnificent waterfalls located on the IguazuRiver, straddling the border between Brazil and Argentina • Salvador Third largest city in Brazil, this old city is famous for its lively culture and one of the world’s biggest Carnival celebrations. • Recife Nicknamed the “Venice of Brazil” popular tourist destination because of its scenery, historic old town, beaches and vibrant culture.

  5. Summer • Summer runs from December through the first half of March. Hottest months are December and January when temperatures can get well over 104ºF (40ºC). Prices increase and business close just before Christmas. Winter • Winter months are July, August and September. There is little rainfall and the sunny days are perfect for the beach.
