  2. The Elephant-Nosed fish The elephant nosed fish is a very small fish with a long nose which is referred to as an ‘elephant nose’. It’s habitat is in the Niger River basin but there could be some all off the coast of West Africa. It’s unique features are it’s long nose for communicating and for digging around for food, plasticy fins which stick to objects and an electric wave which protects it from predators.

  3. It lives in dark, red waters which camouflages it. It eats very small plants found on the bottom of the sea and is eaten by just about any fish bigger than it.

  4. Snake-necked turtle The snake-necked turtle has a ‘snake like neck’ which helps it swim around. Just like any turtle would, it has an egged shape shell which it uses for protection. They are a rare species as they can only be found on Roti island where they lay their eggs. It has webbed feet and a tiny tail to propel itself through the water.

  5. Bengal tiger The Bengal Tiger has a bushy mane and black and orange stripes to camouflage itself. It can be found in the Middle-East in lots of different countries. Bengal Tigers have been constantly poached for their fur but luckily the local community have stopped this. Most Bengal tigers are cunning predators. They camouflage themselves and then pounce on their prey. They eat wild deer and other small animals.

  6. Penguins Penguins are found in one place, Antarctica but they can be seen in zoos everywhere.
