Our Vision • We, the Cumberland County Department of Public Safety, will be the recognized leader for the coordination of emergency preparedness, communications, response, and recovery services; enabling highly trained, well equipped, professional staff in collaboration with our public safety partners to protect and preserve life.

Our Mission • To Coordinate essential public safety activity among federal, state, regional county, municipal and volunteer organizations to provide quick, reasoned responses to the needs of our citizens during daily public safety operations and emergencies both natural and man-made disasters.
